Following on from our first meeting to discuss all things Christmas, and a subsequent support session about making videos for school websites, we are excited to be planning the next meeting of Essex Music Hub’s Primary Music Teachers Network.
During the meetings we will share with you research, resources and projects that you can utilize in your classrooms and hear from colleagues round the county to see how they make music work in their schools. We will also share some quick ideas that you can take away and use the next day in your classrooms.
This will take place on Tuesday 2nd March, 3.45pm – 4.45pm on Microsoft Teams and we are delighted to welcome Will Heaton, our in-house O-Generator expert, and Kathryn Pomeroy from Queen Boudica Primary. We will be exploring how to use ICT in music and sharing some ideas for you to try in your classrooms or home school packages.
Subsequent meetings will be planned for each half term and will cover topics related to all aspects of music in primary schools.
If you have any ideas for future sessions, would like to share an idea or have a question you would like us to address please contact sarah.goldsmith@essex.gov.uk and we look forward to seeing you virtually soon.
Join on your computer or mobile app on Tuesday 2nd March at 3.45pm – 4.45pm
