Essex Music Service is excited to welcome Ollie Tunmer from ‘Beat Goes On’ to Essex.
Ollie is a former cast member of the hit show STOMP and its sister show, ‘The Lost & Found Orchestra’. He is also a qualified secondary music teacher and combines these experiences to deliver fun, engaging and memorable workshops which draw on participants’ own ideas, as well as developing skills and knowledge. Ollie also promotes the use of music as a means of encouraging well-being, for both individuals and teaching communities.
Ollie will be delivering workshops with schools in the Maldon District and as part of the project has agreed to deliver a CPD session for any teachers who want some practical ideas and advice about using body percussion in the classroom. There is no cost to DfE funded Essex schools for this event, all other schools will be charged £40.
Essex schools have been brushing up on their Yiddish and learning to sing traditional Jewish songs with Joseph Finlay and musicians from the Don Kipper band.

Members of the Essex Music Service Team will be available during the day to discuss ways we can partner with you and provide technical support with the day-to-day business of booking tutors and using Speed Admin.
This course is subsidised from £140 to *£25 by Essex Music Education Hub. The subsidised price is available for staff who work in DFE funded schools served by the Hub. Staff from Independent schools or schools not served by the Hub will be charged £140.
