Sing together – leading singing in your classroom and school (EYFS – lower KS2)

A practical CPD session exploring singing well, singing safely and singing together from EYFS – lower KS2.

A practical session for anyone delivering and leading singing. Prepare your classes and choirs for the festive season with expert advice and guidance from Sharon Durant from Sing Up. During the course of the session, Sharon will:

• Share good practise for leading healthy singing

• Supporting voices in an age-appropriate manner

• Choosing repertoire that is fun, engaging and progressive

• Think about how to develop a song for performance

• Lead lots of singing!

Delegates are welcome to stay for the afternoon session which will be exploring material for Upper KS2 and KS3. Please book the afternoon session via the eventbrite link for that event.

You do not need to have a subscription to Sing Up to attend this event. The material for the session will be drawn from the platform so it is a good opportunity to explore the resource available, but the principles and teaching tools are applicable to any singing material.

*There is no cost for Essex, Thurrock and Southend DfE funded schools to attend this session. All other attendees will be charged £40.
